Fine Letter signed 'Pierre' in French with translation, to the President of the Republic of Bolivia telling him about his daughter´s recently celebrated wedding and saying that he reports "to your Excellency about my beloved daughter´s marriage, her Royal Highness Princess Helen of Serbia, to his Royal Highness Prince John Constantinovich, celebrated at Peterhof the 21st August….", 1 side 4to., Belgrade, 17th September two small file holes to the left edge, barely touching one letter of the text, not affecting the signature.

Eliodoro Villazón Montaño (1848-1939) was Constitutional President of Bolivia from 1909-13.
Princess Helen of Serbia (1884-1962) Daughter of King Peter I and his wife Princess Zorka of Montenegro, and sister of Alexander I of Yugoslavia. Known as Elena Petrovna, after her marriage.
Prince Ioann Konstantinovich of Russia(1886-1918) Also known as Prince John, was the eldest son of Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich of Russia. Murdered by Bolsheviks at the early age of 32 along with his brothers

Most dear and good Friend, I hasten to inform Your Excellency that the marriage of my beloved daughter the Princess Jelena to His Highness the Prince Ioann Constantinovich was celebrated on the 21st August last at Peterhof. I like to believe that Your Excellency will receive the news with satisfaction, and I take the opportunity presented to renew to Your Excellency the assurance of the high esteem and sincere friendship with which I am your Good Friend [Signed] Peter
