PART OF THE MANUSCRIPT OF KOSSUTH'S 'MEMORIES OF EXILE' KOSSUTH (Lajos, 1802-1894, Hungarian Patriot and Statesman)

Unsigned Autograph Manuscript in Hungarian, with his surname "Kossuthnah" in the text comprising eleven lines of text by Kossuth, stating that, "The contents of this letter of mine were not communicated to Count Cavour, the reason for which the reader will understand from the following chapter. Chapter the Second First symptoms of dissension among refugees Pulszky - Kossuthnah in London, Turin, Jan 8 1861 - (The letter follows) ..." with a contemporary ink annotation in an unidentified hand at the foot of the page stating that it is "Part of the original (Hungarian) manuscript of Kossuth's 'Memories of Exile'. Given to Miss Cranford ... by Bartholomew Gunszt, formerly K's private secretary ...", with an English translation on the verso, 1 side 8vo., Turin, 8th January

Kossuth's Memories of My Exile was published in 1880.
Count Camillo Benso di Cavour (1810-1861) was an Italian Statesman.
