Autograph letter signed to an unnamed correspondent (Peter le Neve Foster, of the Society of Arts, the letter bears the Society's stamp) saying that the "Committee of this Society have instructed me to find for the Class of bookkeeping they are about to establish a thoroughly competent teachers, and in answer to an application made to Mr Harry Chester we have received a reference to you as one likely to be able to give the address of any lady who has received a certificate in this branch from the Society of Arts ...", 1 side 8vo., Society of Promoting the Employment of Women headed paper, 6th February

She founded the Victoria Press in 1860 with women compositors, and obtained the Royal Warrant. The Press published The English Women's Journal a progressive magazine.
