JANOTHA (Natalia, 1856-1932, Polish Pianist and Composer)

Janotha studied with Clara Schumann and Brahms, and played at the courts of Prussia, Great Britain and Spain. In 1885 she was court pianist in Berlin. Her compositions were influenced by Chopin, and she first published his Fugue in A minor (1898).
