(George Thomas, 1800-1886, Engraver) telling him that the "proof of your excellent engraving of Pickersgill's Cuvier reached me in safety and I have just received it from the frame-maker. Having been acquainted with Cuvier about the period when the likeness which you have perpetuated and diffused was taken I contemplate it with peculiar satisfaction. I am sure that the President & Council would consider your proposed donation a valuable accession to the series of prints of eminent anatomists & medical men already in the Institution. Will you inform me how I may remit you that which I am indebted to you for my impression ...", 2 sides 8vo., 6 Park Cottages, Village East, Regents Park, 11th March
