BENNETT (Arnold, 1867-1931, Poet and Novelist)

Autograph Letter Signed in full to an unnamed correspondent saying that he doubts "if the letters will reach you as neither myself nor any of my friends have deciphered your signature. Anyhow I hope it will as I am anxious to thank you for your very appreciative letter which has given me much pleasure ...", 1 side 4to.,Avon Fontainebleau, 24th February

In 1903 Bennett moved to Paris, where other artists from around the world had converged on Montmartre and Montparnasse. Bennett spent the next eight years writing novels and plays.
