DESMOND (Florence, 1905-1993, Dancer & Impersonator)

Fine vintage press photo by George Dallison, signed and inscribed, "All good wishes", showing her half length wearing a spotted fluffy dress and a big bow in her tie, she has also written "Streamline", 9½" x 7", no place, no date but

In 1934 James Agate reviewed her performance in the Cochrane review, Streamline at the Palace theatre: "She has not only a white-hot sense of the ridiculous but can present it in a dozen different disguises."
