Can I do anything for you in England 1 line to me will meet with my best endeavour ... Some of my things may come down ... on Board the Mail directed to the Commandant here, could you give your letter Sergeant orders to ask on board" for redirecting, "I return you the book you kindly lent me with many thanks", 'O[ffice] of the C[ommandant]', Crimea, 3 sides 8" x 5", '19th' no date, circa trifling defects and light folds in outer margins without loss
