                (1821-1879, second son of John Ellis, 1789-1862, Chairman of the Midland Railway), of Belgrave, Leicestershire, saying "In re ... Anchor Wyke ... we found it the opposite side of the Thames to Runnymede - A glorious old tree it is! ... the woman at the lodge found the gardeners wife" who "found the gardener's son" to take him, he encloses  "a sprig ... what the little berry looking things are I don't know but there were no ripe berries upon it ... plucked within 5 hours of this present writing ... the house is nothing - from its appearance there might have been half a dozen such since the old yew was planted", he mentions the recent owners, "As respects Henry VIII whatever the place might have been in his time it is now a very snug one for saying soft things to soft women in - the boy told me the yew is 1100 years old", 4 sides 8vo., Boveney Court, Windsor, 10th October
