under the direction of Cav. Andrea Mayer, with a very fine outdoor scene in full colours by C.B. Conti, of people in 18th century dress, showing a young lady being introduced and curtseying to her hostess, with other guests and musicians behind, lake, parkland and mountain beyond, in an elaborate rococo gilt frame, above is a crowned FERT (motto of the Order of the Annunciation, 1362), the music, opening with a Military March by Mayer & Fedi, includes Sinfonias and other pieces from Italian opera, and ends with Carosio's march Ruwenzori, 2 sides 8vo. in covers held by cord and tassel, Turin, 11th May
