Autograph Letter Signed to 'Dear Miss Sanders'
saying that she is going away for a week "& am sorry I have not had a spare moment before then. On my return I shall have to get in to some heavy work & shall have to shut my door. In any case I never see anyone till the late afternoon. Perhaps it would be best for you if you came when I am away ... It is about the worst time for my garden as it is just planted out for the summer. I mean nothing is visible of my arrangements for colour. But the wood walks in the upper part of the ground are pleasant ...", with a postscript that she must "give the card enclosed when you come ...", 1 side 4to., Munstead wood, Godalming, 13th June
