Background
Viscount Trematon and his father were Princes of Teck, titles exchanged for British ones in 1917. His mother, Princess Alice (1883-1981), daughter of Prince Leopold, was the last surviving granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Viscount Trematon died in a road accident in France on 15th April 1928.
