saying that when I was at Beaconsfield, Miss Blunt of Adderbury... asked me a question about one of the 'Songs without Words' which I could not answer which led him to refer to an edition the name of which I could not remember!, it is the Klindworth Edition (Novello, 1898) but it contains nothing to throw light on the matter...
