(George William, 1827-1912, Dean of Winchester 1883-1894, from 1894 Dean of Durham)
Autograph Letter Signed to Lord Mayor Treloar,
saying how disappointed he is to have to decline the invitation to Dine at the Mansion House, & to meet there the 'Old Boys of K[ing's] C[ollege] S[chool] owing to attacks of jaundice, he thinks he would have been the oldest member there - for I was at the School from 1842 to 1844... And at any rate a man in his 80th year cannot meet many schoolfellows, but wishing your Banquet a great success, 3 sides 8vo, The Deanery, Durham, 12th April
