The list includes beef, mutton, veal, with the occasional ox tongue at 3s, 3s 6d or 5s. The weight and frequency of many of the single entries - rising to 118 pounds of beef just before Christmas - suggest that Mr Wilson kept a very large establishment or, more likely, a shop.
