sending a copy of the Free Catholic [not present] in which I wrote down my proposals... Mr Berry of Carr's Lane [Congregational] & I had embodied in a letter to the Bishop of Birmingham [H.R. Wakefield] a proposal based on these lines for uniting the work of Carr's Lane & this Cathedral, he talks of certain difficulties felt on both sides about mutual ordination, Personally I am inclined to risk something for the great object, 1 side 4to., Cathedral Rectory, Birmingham, 7th August
