above the names of the rest of his party, Lord LONSDALE (Lowther, Hugh Cecil Lowther,5th Earl, 1857-1944, Sportsman), Sir Godfrey THOMAS (1889-1968, Private Secretary to the Prince of Wales), Herbert W. Walker, G. Mure Ritchie, R. S. Hudson, Thoms Black, Frank Hols, M. Kennedy & W. H. Johnson, the page is headed Haig Pit and dated 30th June 1927, there are then three more pages of signatures including the Safety in mines Limbering Committe, 8 May 1929, together with a fine photo of the Prince's visit showing him walking with his party at the colliery, 6½ x 5 in mount 10 x 8, 4to., bound in red morocco,
