SINBAD
(Pen-name of Aylward Edward Dingle, 1876-1947, mariner, writer and broadcaster)
Autograph letter signed 'Sinbad' to Eileen Cond,
thanking her and saying that he has had a sharp spell of 'flop' & am also submerged in correspondence, hence this scrappy reply. The difficulty about my wife's permit to sail is apparently some new ruling of the USA regarding American spouses. The Hutton case I believe precipitated it. However I am hourly expecting some news that all is well and that Nan will be home..., 1 side 8vo. on a lettercard, 3 Roseveare, Bude, 3rd January
