(Marius, 1912-1998, Actor)
Fine Autograph Letter signed to Mrs Wood
apologising for having taken so long in sending the enclosed but I have been doing extra rehearsal work at the theatre and only managed to get it off today, in spite of this fact that I was anxious to deal with the subject, in order to leave something 'on my mind' after finishing the run of Romeo! Unexpected works always comes when one thinks one will be idle. Hilary tells me that it is better to send it off in its present state than to waste further time in correcting and copying it so I must also apologise for the very rough condition, really only in note form. Thank you very much for giving it to me. I hope it may be of some use to the enquirer! I expect I've enjoyed it more that he (or she) will enjoy it..., 2 sides 8vo., The Old Vic, 31st March
