saying that they understand from the letter to Mr Phelps of ye 8th present that Orders were not come for receiving ye Saddles on board her Majities Ships ye Edgar Sunderland and Anglesey - tho by Mr Burchet's letter of ye 6th we had intimation they were sent, We have writ to acquaint him therewith and to hasten ye same, and having recd directions for sending with ye said Saddles 500 pair of Pistolls, 500 Horsemen's Swords and 500 Belts they will goe by Land Carriage to Portsmouth on Munday next packed in 13 Chests... you are to receive and put alsoe on board ye said Ships and deliver One of the enclosed Letters for ye Governor or Comander in Chieife of her Majties Island of Jamaica to ye Captain of each Ship to carry with him..., 1 side folio., Office of Ordnance, 16th October
