Background
Leopold was a haemophiliac, a condition he inherited from his mother. He died on at the age of 32, during a hip operation. He is buried in the Royal Burial Ground, Frogmore. A memorial tablet to him and his brother Maurice is in Winchester Cathedral. Photos of this Prince are rare due to his early death.
