Background
Annotate by one of the nursemaids. From the collection of 'Lalla' Bill, (Charlotte Jane 'Lalla' Bill, 1875-1964) who was the nurse to the Royal children for the Duke and Duchess of York and spent her entire time dressing them up like dolls. All the children remained close to her for the rest of their lives. She ended her days at Sandringham with all the family popping into to see her, surrounded by photos of the Royal children.
