Quite obviously Un Souvenir de Solferino is a fascinating book and ought to be published in English but I am, however, afraid it will not do for us. We have given up the Classics series as they did not sell well enough and now one requires to sell over 25,000 of the first edition for a Penguin to pay and so I really do not think it is possible for us to have this translated and publish it..., 1 side 4to., Master's Lodge, Cambridge headed paper, 28th June
