Background
From May 14 to June 7th 1907 his summer residence was Tuxedo Park, he then travelled to England to receive an Honorary Doctorate from Oxford. He returned again on July 23rd. It seems likely that he answered this invitation before he left England and that his actual dates changed during the trip.
