Background
Tosti settled in England and became singing teacher to the Royal Family in 1881. In 1894 he joined the Royal Academy of Music as a professor. In 1906, he became a British citizen and was knighted (KCVO) two years later by his friend, King Edward VII.Transcription12 MANDEVILLE PLACE W.
