Charming Friendly Autograph Letter Signed to My dear Boz
hoping he won't think me a brute. I am not a little attached to you & yours & am rejoiced to hear you are in England once more. But I have been - O so much occupied &, as you perhaps have seen, not unsuccessfully... I had to take my horse several times to the trough(?) before I could make him drink. But do not tell this to the heathen. You see what a stir the Article has made, & the author writes to me to-day he is himself surprised at the result. Now if I did not love you a little, I could not have written even these few lines. Shortly we must meet..., 4 sides 8vo., Swinford Old Manor, Ashford, Kent, 4th November
