certifying that Mademoiselle Gerardina... daughter of Henrik Van der Dussen and Baletta Elizabeth Van Huls is actually alive, signed also by George Maddison, and in London by Francis MASÈRES, (1731-1824), Cursitor Baron of the Exchequer, who writes that upon the Oath of John Bern.d Descous the certificate appears to be true, with Yorke's seal, 1 side 4to., The Hague, 9th January and 10th April

Background
Yorke served as ADC to Cumberland at Fontenoy and in Scotland, and to George II. Masères is well known for his valuable reprints of early mathematical and scientific works, especially 'Scriptores Logarithmici', 6 vols., 1791-1807.
