(Charles Cospatrick, 1937-1985, from 1982 Editor of The Times)
Typed Letter Signed 'Charles' to Donald McCormick,
(1911-1998, Historian of the Secret Services as 'Richard Deacon'), explaining that he had tried to get away for a few days, only to be interrupted by the Falklands affair. I found your letter very interesting, though... the subjects you touch on will never be illuminated in the way that we would like, on the Beves affair... I don't think that it is all that it seemed at the time - rightly or wrongly... If you turn up something for us do let me know, 1 side 4to., The Times, 200 Gray's Inn Road, 21st April
