(Sir T. George, 1833-1917, M.P., Chairman, Metropolitan Division, National Union of Conservative Associations)
Autograph Letter Signed to J.G. Hay Halkett, (1863-1937, Barrister and Magistrate),
regretting that he dare not go out after all on a day like this promises to be, with his apologies to Lord Farquhar, 1 side 8vo., 26 Hyde Park Street, 29th November
Fardell was instrumental in getting the Public Bodies Corrupt Practices Act passed in 1889. Hay Halkett was a great canvasser for the elections to the London County Council, of which Farquhar and Fardell were prominent members.
