about a bill of April 1798 supposed to have been outstanding with his tailors in Chatham, the late Messrs Acworth & Matthews, and now called in by Acworth's executors, for some common necessaries and £5 5s in cash, he cannot think the account correct, I sailed from Chatham in the spring of 1797, when I remember paying all my Bills & Mr Acworth's was one...
