Background
Sara Woods, born in Bradford, emigrated to Halifax in 1957 to breed pigs, and served as registrar of St Mary's University till 1964.Eileen Cond was a book collector who sent out her bookplate to her favourite authors, many of whom signed and returned them to her. Among the most notable was Ian Fleming.
