Remarkable photograph of a large room,
in which are displayed an astonishing array of presents for her birthday including paintings, a pair of ivory tusks, a pair of large oriental fans, silver ware, two enormous books, and much more, at the back is a wall hanging saying 'God Bless Our Queen Not Queen Alone but Mother Friend and Queen', the occasion identified below in a later hand in pencil, 8¼ x 11¼ on card 9¼ x 11¾, Windsor Castle, no date, circa 1887, with on the verso a photograph of a large outdoor gathering, the Queen can be seen in black, her bonnet trimmed in white, at the head of the Royal Party, just outside their open-sided tent, while ahead and to the left her guests look on from under their awnings, two gentlemen in highland dress are in the left foreground, 8¼ x 11, Windsor Great Park, no date, circa
