hoping that she is enjoying herself at Liverpool & that baby does lots of funny things and for a little letter... how you are & about baby, yesterday we went to church on board the Bachhante, HMS Bacchante, in which her brothers Eddy (Albert Victor) and Georgie (George V) were serving for 3 years, visiting many British colonies, ending we must call Papa & Mama you dont no how! I miss you to beat the egg because Lizzy turns it into another glass but I like her better than Whrite [sic] but you must not say. Background
Mrs Elizabeth Jones ('Jonnie', d. 13th May 1881), was for 14 years the much-loved nanny of the Prince & Princess of Wales's children. She spent her time away with her sister in Wales.The Princess was more usually known as 'Toria' in the family.
