Background
This is an interesting photograph because Alexandra has her hair down as she is recovering from rheumatic fever which she suffered from whilst she was expecting Princess Louise. This was also the year in which her deafness started.On the back is a press description and, in pencil, '11-21-25 An old Picture of Queen mother'.
