Background
Reynolds, the London correspondent of Collier's, had provided the commentary and voice-over for 'London Can Take It', filmed during a fortnight during the actual blitz. He followed it with his book 'Britain Can Take It' in 1941. Reynolds showed the film to Roosevelt, and it had considerable effect in furthering American support.
