BUCKSTONE
(John Baldwin, 1802-1879, Actor, Playwright & Comedian)
Autograph Letter Signed to 'My dear Sir',
saying he finds that the Comedy of 'Money' is acted on Saturday Night as this will call me into the Theatre at ½ past 6 precisely, I shall be quite unable to dine with you... the Comedy is not over till 10 o'clock and then I have to appear in the farce, what is to be done? Sunday is not a fit day, he could look in for twenty minutes at 10 o'clock at night but that would be too late, or alternatively could wait on the Gentleman you wish me to meet, with the plans which are now ready... with pleasure, 3 sides 8vo, 6 Brompton Square, 4th March
Item Date: 1846
