It would give Mrs Disraeli and myself very great pleasure... Should you be at Langley, as I hope, & disengaged, wh: I hope still more, would you come to us on [Thursday] the 25th & meet one or two agreeable friends, & stay with us, at least, until the Monday following?, ending With our kind remembrances to all yr: circle, 3 sides 8vo., no place, 18th September

The badge at the head of side 1 has been skilfully replaced at an early date with Disraeli's as Earl of Beaconsfield, 1876, K.G. 1878, an EB surrounded by the Garter under an Earl's coronet.
